Over the last few years, our mental health has been tested by many things. We’ve lived through unprecedented times during Covid, a lot of us have felt the pinch of the cost of living crisis, and generally, our lives just feel busier and full. In times when it is often hard to grab that 5 mins of peace and quiet we all need sometimes, we want to offer our customers the chance to get this when they visit us at Salon 56, so we’ll now be offering a Silent Service to all of our customers.
What is a Silent Service?
During a Silent Service, your hair stylist will carry out your initial consultation at the start of the appointment but then will not speak to you throughout unless absolutely necessary. You can also request a Silent Service in our upstairs space where it will be quieter and phones are not permitted. Although not completely silent, this will offer you a quieter space.
Why offer Silent Services?
We offer silent services because we know that not everyone wants to chit chat during their appointment. Regardless of your reasons, you do not need to explain or feel apologetic. Creating a comfortable experience is our priority.
Who can book a Silent Service?
Absolutely anyone. Whether you’ve had a tough week in the office, you struggle with social anxiety or because you just want to enjoy the peace, all our customers are free to request this service.
How to book
If you book an appointment online, just add a note requesting a Silent Service. If you are calling in, please tell our receptionist. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
In summary, we recognise how important it is to just have time to shut off from the world and these options are always here, should you prefer.
We’ll still create the same gorgeous hair you are expecting and you can get the peaceful down time you need.
